About
I'm Sean Russell, a photographer based in upstate New York. I started taking photos in 2014 for my college newspaper, and went on to cover the New York State Assembly as a senior staff photographer for several years, while photographing weddings, events, and portraits across the Northeast on the side.
These days I've slowed down my work to focus on longer moments and finer details. Every image is edited by hand, and printed on either archival paper, metal, or canvas by a professional lab. Every print is quality-controlled, numbered, and signed by me before it leaves the studio.
